About Africa Arise and Shine

Africa Arise and Shine is an international Christian gathering launched in August 2000 in Kigali, Rwanda, with the vision of awakening Africans on the continent and in the diaspora to rise, live Christ-centered lives, and play their pivotal role in the spiritual, social, moral, and economic transformation of Africa.

For over 26 years, the conference has gathered church leaders, youth, professionals, government officials, intercessors, worshippers, and transformational voices from across Africa and the nations.

The 2026 edition marks the 27th edition of the conference and continues the continental prophetic assignment of mobilizing leaders and believers for Africa’s spiritual awakening and transformation.
